Guest Speaker

Scott Kramer

Scott is an autistic self-advocate from Rossville, Georgia, near the Georgia/Tennessee state line in Northwest Georgia. After being diagnosed officially on the autism spectrum in 2007, Scott received written documentation of his autism diagnosis in 2010. A few months after receiving his documentation, Scott founded CGA Center for Adult Autism/Southeast USA as an adults-only support group. This continued until 2015, when Scott founded another support group in Dalton area of North Georgia.

Scott founded the Tri-State Adult Autism Symposium in 2016, after a search online mentioned only two other types of events of similar nature in the world. In 2017, the Symposium became the first autism conference east of the Mississippi River to fully focus on adult autism issues (employment, independent living, social relationships/skills, and health & wellness).
